Fascinating! My opinion is simply this:Its a SOCIAL network.Unless you spend money with facebook to advertise-NOTHING MUCH HAPPENS.WITH 139 friends on there,there are never more than 5 online at any given time!.On myspace with 3600 plus- never more than around 20!! Very near impossible to get noticed! This is NOT the rant of a cynic! Simply a REALIST who has found out after years of research and marketing tech-not a lot of people LISTEN! And those who do ,wont help with success.Bands and people add me on myspace WITHOUT EVEN PLAYING ANY OF MY TUNES!! Music sites are no different.EVERYONE clamouring for recognition and geting nowhere fast! Some have 200,000 and more "friends" and STILL no deal!
